What do you love about where you live?
For me Adelaide is considered underrated by everyone else in Australia. However, we have some of the most amazing beaches, not to mention the wineries and also The Adelaide Fringe Festival. There is nothing better than being in Adelaide when the city is alive and buzzing, and so full of life.
What are you currently pondering?
Lately, I’ve been pondering the balance between technological advancement and its impact on society. Technology is undeniably amazing and beneficial in countless ways, but at what point do we draw the line in replacing human roles entirely? Could we eventually create a world where people lack basic social skills because they’ve never experienced customer-facing roles? While full automation may not happen in my lifetime, I often think about the potential downsides of technology and how it’s reshaping the fabric of our society.
What do you look for in a founding team?
When evaluating a founding team, I prioritise cohesion and strong communication. I look for a team that not only understands each member's role but also excels in executing their responsibilities while supporting one another. A standout team is one where members actively cross-learn, ensuring that no one is burdened with an excessive workload. This kind of collaboration and mutual understanding fosters resilience and adaptability, which are crucial for long-term success.
What does down-time look like?
I love the beach, there is something about the ocean's sound that is super calming for me, so I am at the beach as often as I possibly can be, with my best mate Winnie (5-year-old rescue dog). I also love trying new restaurants, bars and wineries and anything that involves catching up with friends. However, as much as I love being out, I also love being home, with my family and Winnie, reading a book, playing board or card games, and I have a big love for cooking, so I love cooking meals for my loved ones.
