What do you love about where you live?
What's not to love about Adelaide! I can get to the beach in 5 minutes, the hills in 15, and the CBD in 20—that's what I love the most. The city offers the convenience of a big city without all the hassles. And to top it off, the food and wine is great!
What are you currently pondering?
As I work in environmental markets, I'm constantly thinking about what it will take for the market to deliver on countries'/corporations' climate and sustainability goals. When I'm not working, I'm thinking of ways to disguise and feed veggies to my three-year old.
What do you look for in a founding team?
Two things are absolutely critical for me: passion and the ability to pivot. Everything else is good to have. A startup founder's journey is riddled with ups and downs, so only someone with relentless passion for their idea, coupled with the ability to course-correct if needed, can succeed.
What does down-time look like?
Sitting on the beach with my family, eating ice-cream and watching the sun go down. I love sunrises too but I'm rarely awake for that.
